Kilmelford and Kilninver Village Hall Energy conservation project

To install sufficient solar panels and batteries to make the village hall self sufficient in power with a back up generator for serious winter outages in the village

We want to addresse the real issue of a cold hall and replace it with a warm and vibrant hub where older - and younger- members of the community can be certain of a warm welcome and warm food when there are power outages in the village. At present we have a variety of activities in the hall, from pilates to music concerts and it would be nice to have them in the warm. Once a month we have a lunch club which is very well attended and suggests that we could do more community led hospitality events in partnership with the church and the community company.
